Finding the right water heater for your home depends on energy source, size, cost, and personal preference. Let's take a look at the different types and styles available and how they work. Most water heaters are powered by natural gas or electricity. Gas and electric water heaters operate in a similar way.
Did you know that a plumbing emergency, if not handled properly, can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage to your home? This is especially the case if you experience flooding damage, which can cause up to$7 of damageper square foot of your home. If you're currently experiencing a plumbing problem, then you're probably trying to decide whether you should call an emergency plumbing service.
As grease, fats, and soaps build up in the pipes, they act as magnets for food particles that are washed down the drain. That build up can quickly transform from a slowly draining sink to a raging kitchen flood. If you notice your drain is moving slower than usual, it is a sign that action should be taken soon.
Even a small leak in your pipes can push gallons of water into your yard, walls, and home. If you find that your drains are running slower, your water pressure seems to have decreased, or your water bills are climbing dramatically, it's time to call Atomic. We will perform an inspection of pipes, drains, and fixtures to help you make an informed decision about repairing, replacing, and caring for the pipe structure in your residence.
In the USA sewer pipe root invasion is most common in the Pacific Northwest, California, the Southwest, and the Northeast. This is believed to be caused by expansive tree root systems in those regions. The types of pipes can also relate to the risk of tree root infiltration. Clay and concrete pipes are more susceptible to tree root damage than plastic or metal pipes.

Mike and Ryan visited us for what we thought was a leak in our drainage line. It actually ended up being a clog that was causing water to leak through the wax ring in our upstairs toilet. It was on the expensive side for having a roto done to clear it out but they did the job very quickly and got us up and running again. They do offer a military discount as well which was nice.

The thing that really stood out for me though was I planned to install a new toilet that I grabbed prior to their arrival and they noticed I had purchased the wrong feed line for the new toilet. They not only provided me the correct one but they pointed out the flange for the toilet was lower in the floor which likely caused the leaking as there was only one wax ring on the old toilet.

They gave me two wax rings and told me to stack them and that should provide better protection in the future if we were to have another clog down the road. They also showed me where the view port is for our line that goes out to the sewer main in case I needed to troubleshoot any flow problems down the road. Top notch plumbers and both Mike and Ryan were really stand up guys. Thanks again! Definitely won us over as customers in case we have any future plumbing needs.

Scott was very quick to show up and extremely professional. It was a very sudden issue and I needed the weekend to arrange payment. He was so kind and understanding about this and had no problem delaying payment while I talked with my bank. I would love to use their services again if I run into any more problems. They are fast and great at explaining the issues.

The plumbers are professional and timely and very helpful. I have used Atomic several times for various repairs and I've been 100% satisfied each time they come out. Jim M and Derek always answer questions and offer helpful suggestions when they visit and they complete their work and clean up completely after they are finished. My go to will always be Atomic for any repairs I have a need for

I highly recommend Atomic Plumbing. Recently they replaced a Hot Water Heater for me. There was a discrepancy with costs for this work. I discussed my concerns with Paul Keane, Service Manager/London Bridge Road, Virginia Beach, VA. After our discussion Mr. Keane agreed to charge me the price as I understood it to be rather than the disputed costs. I found him to be a person of great integrity & as a result I would definitely recommend Atomic Plumbing!

Scott and John did an amazing job in installing several toilets in my home, and repairing a leaky faucet. Scott has previously installed my hot water heater, and he has consistently shown outstanding professionalism, pride in his job, he thoroughly explains everything, and make sure I am satisfied with the completed job prior to leaving. The one thing that definitely stand out for me is his willingness to return if I am ever unsatisfied with the work completed. I would definitely recommend this company, especially Scott.

This is my first time using Atomic Plumbing and boy am I happy! They were able to come out right away for my leak behind the refrigerator. I had called several other plumbing companies that were not able to come out for days. Alan B and Mike were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and we will definitely use them in the future! Thank you so much!

Ryan and David spent almost an entire day doing the rough in plumbing for a master bath renovation. I really appreciated Ryan's extra care to get it right. He spent over an hour talking with me and reviewing the project. And as he encountered any unforeseen issues, he was quick to discuss alternatives. Their website indicates Ryan has 20+ years experience as a master plumber. I can attest that experience shows thru in the final product. I wholeheartedly recommend Atomic Plumbing with Ryan and David!

When my sewer line in the yard backed up into the house, I panicked! Of course it was the weekend, too. Atomic had done a couple repairs at my house in the past, and never disappointed, so I called them. Scott P. and Mike showed up as soon as they could, and cleared the line in 30 minutes. As always, they did a great job. Very professional, considerate, and skilled at their trade. Highly recommend!

I sent an email through Atomic's website on a Sunday requesting a service call and cost estimate on replacement of our 28 year old water heater which gave up Saturday night. 15 minutes later received an email from Kim immediately followed up by a phone call for details on the water heater, location etc. The next day Alan and Bradley came out early, evaluated the work, provided several fair estimates based on warranty options and installed a new water heater. VERY professional and engaging when I asked technical questions while they were working, neat work and cleaned up thoroughly. On top of that, Atomic Plumbing provides a military discount. Service in it's entirety could not be anymore responsive, fair and professional.

I can only try to express just how happy I was with the service provided! They cleared out the clog in my main drain line in a minimal amount of time, they were very professional and kept the house clean when coming and going. The cost was much less than I thought it would be, especially in comparison to the plumber who had supposedly fixed the issue a week and a half ago who did not adhere to a cleanliness standard, scratched up my toilet, stayed for hours and totally overcharged me. Thank you so much Sean & Caleb! You guys are awesome and I am already singing your praises to family and friends.
