In 1993, Master Electrician Greg Sarangoulis saw the need for a single subcontractor to design, install and service all the major mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing and HVAC). Greg believed that the logistics of having one company manage all these projects, rather than 3 or 4 companies, would lead to improved efficency; ultimately, the job(s) would be more managable and affordable for the contractor/owner. In 2007 GMI First, Inc. brought Steve Symons on board to help grow the GMI brand with his experience and knowledge in the mechanical trades.

We offer full turn-key industrial plumbing services including the design and installation of all interior plumbing systems, sewers and drain systems, vents, water piping, fixtures, finishes and related equipment for specific building projects of any size. We strictly adhere to industrial safety and building code standards on all plumbing projects.
At GMI First we design, build, install, and service the major mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing, and HVAC). We are also very unique in offering this one-stop shopping approach. Job efficiency is maximized with GMI First because we coordinate the entire job from start to finish. We employ a larger staff than most trade contractors so we can put more workers on each project, enabling us to meet deadlines while staying on budget. We also equip our workers with nothing but state-of-the-art equipment, further reinforcing our commitment to job efficiency.
