I ordered a UV light bulb from them, something as simple as receiving it and installing it seems to be beyond their capabilities. They were supposed to install the bulb on June 2nd I called numerous times to verify it was in. They told me they had it; then when the technician was on his way he told me it got used on another job. This is after I paid for it.

I was promised call backs by the site manager still yet to receive one. If your looking for a HVAC repair go with someone else. Someone who can track parts, receive them, and install them.

This is a follow up to my first negative review. Took three days to UAT to send a tech out to fix our ac but they finally did. The tech they sent was not the infamous who they said he was coming for two days. But they sent a young man who was very pleasant and extremely knowledge. Diagnosed the problem with in 5 minutes and replaced the part. Last night night was the first cool night in three days. Thank you Prakash for your service.

I called United Air Temp on 05/22/22 to service an AC unit that was not working and they sent out Benjamin Tetteh. Benjamin did not seem to know what he was doing, seemed confused and could not answer any of my questions. He let me know everything was working but that my AC unit just needed to be cleaned and everything would work when I let him know there was no cool air flowing throughout the house he assured me it would take a bit and proceeded to charge me $344.90 and left my home without looking further.

Several hours later there was no change in the issue I called United Air Temp to let them know about this issue and I was hung up on both times when I said I would like a refund if they cannot send someone who knows what they're doing back out here to service my unit. I proceeded to call Brennans and they were able to locate the source of the issue being a bad compressor. Please hire professionals that know what they're doing when you're dealing with peoples homes and their livelihoods. Thanks.

This was a basic claim made through our Home Warranty, and United Air Temp happened to be the "default" company assigned. From the start I was very impressed with the employee who was assigned to service our furnace - Daniel Phan. Daniel was extremely courteous, professional, and did an outstanding job of explaining to me what the issue was and how he could correct it.

On the day of the follow-up appointment, Daniel showed up early and promptly went to work. After the job was completed he was concise with making sure I understood the service provided, made sure he answered any of my questions, and really just did an amazing job overall. In this day and age where I am usually underwhelmed with customer service, Daniel nailed it by performing an amazing job and he deserves to be recognized. Thank you Mr. Phan, you are at the top of your game. United Air Temp needs to promote this young man now, or at the very least recognize his commitment to his work.

United Air Temp is a reasonably good company. UNTIL THIS. I have a full maintenance contract which includes parts and labor. So, for a job on 2/7/22, the technician needed to change a part (a water sensor) which he said was not part of the HVAC system. He said that he will charge me for the part but not the labor. He charged me $175 for a part which I later found to be available for $41.99 (from Amazon). United Air Temp refused to refund me the difference. Home owners BEWARE. Mr. T C Voon

ARE YOU GOING TO CALL ME BACK?! This company, United Air Temp, came out to my home two days ago to replace the motor and capacitor for the heat pump. Note, the heat pump was working and blowing out hot air; however, it started making a noise which is why I called for service. Tech responded in under 5 minutes to the initial service call out and suggested replacing the motor but wasn't entirely sure if that was the main issue.

The next day or so, I received a call from the company saying a new heat pump would cost me $15,000.00! He then dropped it down to $8,000! Make it make sense. The math isn't mathing. I told them to just replace the motor and see what that does but obviously if they were wrong about that being the cause of the noise to repair whatever else was needed (under my warranty).

Two days after getting the new motor, the home will not heat past 66 degrees and it is 17 degrees outside. I called UAT and they said my request has been "escalated" but I called them at 10:09am and it is now 5:00pm. I have heard nothing! BEWARE if you are with a home warranty company that subcontracts their service to UAT. I wish the warranty companies provided a list of all their vendors upfront so you can Google them and request the one you prefer.

The reviews about this company are alarming and I have made the warranty company aware of them. We will see how long it takes them to even respond to this Yelp Review. I have tried them at the following numbers and have not received any concrete answers: 703-842-2499 and 800-890-4328. Time to post to YELP, FACEBOOK, BBB, and the Maryland Department of Labor Home Improvement Commission and Maryland Consumer Protection Division.

I am beyond frustrated. American home shield contracted them out to me to fix my a/c unit. The unit is old, so I understand that it may need to be replaced. Not a problem. The problems came after their second visit. They are friendly, but dishonest. I went elsewhere for the work for less.

This company is terrible they came to my residence due to me not having any heat due to the recent storm. The technician arrives and seemed extremely unaware of what the issue was, and misdiagnosed the issue. Leaving me without heat and paying for service not provided. I will never use this company ever again and I believe they need to hire more experienced technicians.

They sent a technician to do our regularly scheduled HVAC maintenance. The call itself went fine. The guy left. About 15-20 minutes later, the tech returned to my home and tried to sneak back into my home. I chased him out, screaming. I had to call the police to chase him away. When I tried to speak to management, I was told multiple times that I would get a call back from Hector, but he never called back.

When I did finally get a hold of him, he stated that his tech did nothing wrong. Word to the wise: the technician who tried to sneak back into my home has an extensive arrest record for theft, drug paraphernalia, drug possession, and reckless driving. This is the type of individual they are sending to homes! Stay away.

Thank you United Air Temp company for always providing outstanding customer service in a professional manner and get the job done. "I called on Sunday 12/19/21, and what a surprise one of the (Regional Mgr Jason L.) came out with in an hour to see what the problem with our water tank. Even though he described the problem, and the solution was it was time to replace our unit. He was very detailed in explaining what a replacement of a new what cost and the price was very reasonable. We are very satisfied and would definitely recommend to others."

DONT USE THIS COMPANY! Called to ask them to bring paperwork to get access to the roof and they assured us it would be ready. Showed up and had no paperwork. SO 20 degrees and no service and out of luck! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

The Technician John Bryant arrived on time after his call. Very courteous and professional technician who went above and beyond to ensure my hot water heater (pilot) was functioning properly before he left. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and gave me numerous recommendations on what to look for and how to clean a simple filter. Such a professional young man and I would recommended united air temp to assist anyone.

These guys are servicing out a neighbor's HVAC system. They're dragging components over to my yard to dump out the filthy debris for cleaning. Unacceptable, can't imagine people who do this are treating your system and home with care.

United Air Temps is crocked and a rip off. I put in a request for my air conditioner to be service by my home warranty company. United Air Temp came out check my system and found the issue in the line. They ordered the part for the line which took a month.then I had to contact them to find out the status of my repairs. And, that's when they notified me they had the part. Well, they came out several days later to install the part. But, they refused to put on the part unless. I could give $1000.00 for freon. Wow.don't work with this company they are crooked and slow. Thanks

UNITED AIR TEMPS IS HORRIBLE! I would love to give a less than a one star. I called my warranty company AHS on a Sunday morning to request service for my HVAC.for 2 days my thermostat sitting at 70° but temp in my home (on 2nd floor) was registering 89° w/the temps rising outside. I was told it wasn't an emergency temps had to be 105° or health reasons I'm thinking 2 days with temps like this that there would be health issues. AHS assigned United Air Temps.

I couldn't reach United until Weds, you couldn't leave a message so I called AHS over & over trying to get another company but they wouldn't send anyone else. I expressed my concerns of them failing me as a customer and no regards to my health. I offered to pay out of pocket but would like to be reimbursed; I was told no that I wouldn't be.

Finally I reached United and the rep "squeezed me in" on Friday morning. He comes out only for 10mins (my ring doorbell to prove it) to tell me that he could NOT do a test because it was raining and he wouldn't be able to hear but I would need 9lbs of freon that would cost $1260.no test but still he could tell me i needed 9lbs of freon.ouch! Or his manager Craig could come out to talk to me about my options.

My options were to repair or purchase a new unit because my unit is from 2006. Hmmmm. ok, let him come out. SO they sched a meeting for hims manager to work on a Sunday which by the way they don't work on the weekends "unless Temps are 105° or health issues" needless to say his manager came out on a Sunday morning to try selling me a NEW unit ($5600.) but not repair. I'm disappointed in AHS and United! ***I did get my A/C repaired a week later from a company that was referred from the Nextdoor App community with a service call for $89, 3lbs of freon $150 1st lb/ $125 each additional along with a dye/sealer all totaling $704. I used SG heating/air repair.

Thought it was smart to take advantage of their summer pre-check. Spent over 100 for two units. The AGent said everything is working fine. Two days later, one unit is not working. Strange? Would not use them again.

These ppl came out bc my NEW ac condenser would not turn on ( the red & white wires leading to the furnace were crossed and the valve was never opened to release the refridgerant) The tech was clearly competent fixed the wiring and I saw the condenser start. He even adjusted something on the thermostat. Then came the hussle! He said I needed a $1000 TXV added to my coil because it was using R22 and not R410.

Of course, this isn't coveted by American Home Shield. He wasn't called about a coil. He returned everything to its inoperable state and send me an invoice from his truck saying I needed to upgrade my furnace $645 and coil $395. This was after I informed him that a coil only cost $295. I actually have one. Now, my only option is to crawl to the other side of my furnace and install the coil I have as I cant afford to pay anyone to open the valve. I will buy a service wrench from amazon and do it myself.

A year ago these people put a new ac and furnace in my house. I called for a simple check because they told me at 6 months my air filter would need to be replaced. Darlene refused to listen and immediately transferred me for a service repair (any way to get you to pay for what you don't need)I called her back to explain AGAIN my unit HAS NOT been serviced in a year.

I asked to speak to someone else 6 times, she told me her manager Saul wasn't in. Interesting. After I handed the phone to my nephew because she clear didn't want to listen to me. She starts telling him I need a repair. He then tried to explain the filter that was black! Saul the manager calls me back he was even more rude than Darlene. I'll call corporate perhaps they'll listen! And my Home Maintainence, to ensure they know who they're dealing with. Called Nice heating and sure. They came out and replaced the filter and guess what, NO issues.
