Had them come and replace a kitchen faucet for our tenant. The tenant had the faucet. The cost for this 25 minute job was $385 dollars-oops no, add on an 89 dollar " dispatch fee" so the cost for a 25 minute job was 474 dollars. Do your due diligence. We will NEVER hire these rip off artists again.

My Mother was taken advantage of by a local plumber with no integrity. Afterwards the same problem occurred within 4 days. We called Harry Wells and couldn't have been happier. They came in and fixed the problem and charged her less than half of what the other guy did all while treating her with the utmost respect and kindness. Thanks guys you did a wonderful job again. I'll never call anyone else. Thanks Harry Wells & Son.

Nothing but trouble after the salesman visit and deposit made for 2 mini split units to be installed. Didn't hire Wells plumbing but that's who came to my house. The company was Proactive Comfort. Electrician never showed so job delayed by several days. 3 weeks later, unit spills water all over my carpet. Call for help and am told it's $195 just to talk to technician and another more for someone to come out.

Couldn't believe it. Called next day and got appointment for this morning. Technician came and said he couldn't do anything and left. Just got the message in afternoon from my parents who live downstairs. Never heard from technician or company. Company has 2 names and 3 phone numbers

Quick, efficient, fair pricing! Called around on Saturday night to find someone to fix a flooding drain, and they were the only service that had no problem coming first thing Sunday morning as requested. Bennett arrived right on time, was quick at diagnosing and repairing the issue, and very polite. Thank you Harry W. Wells & Sons for great service!

Terrible company. Had them come find the source of the leak on the first floor, coming from a second floor bathroom. Plumber comes for half an hour and says can't find anything and proceeds to charge $165 saying the commute from the last place to here was an hour and a half. Please save your money and go somewhere else as these idiots shouldn't even have plumbing licenses or jobs. Hope y'all are reading this and work on the quality of your service.

We had Harry Wells install a new oil burner furnace in our home. We are very happy with the burner as well as the professionalism during and after the installation. It was installed in the summer and when I turned the heat on for the first time a couple months later, there was a small issue. They came right out and fixed it that same day. The cost of the unit was also very reasonable for the quality we wanted. I would recommend them to anyone.

Just had Tyler come replace a water heater on a Saturday. Showed up an hour after I called in and he came right over and did it. Cleaned up after himself as well. I believe I paid a fair price for emergency service. Thanks guys! Ps Jason Weatherbee in Milford recommended this company to me. Worked out great!

Cleaning my back bathroom i came across a small drip on the pipe over the hot water heater. Having seen Wells and sons around, i called them. the repair person Jason, is his name arrived the following morning. he was wearing a mas, as i was too. he looked it over, told me what he wanted to do and i said go ahead. Well he was done in one hours time and the work was great. totally satisfied. this work was done in a small bathroom with the water heater squeezed in between the shower and a wall. the reason for only 4 stars is due to the cost of $110 per hour. thought that was a little high. Quality of work is fantastic. also very neat.

Called for an appointment at 7:30 this morning and Roxanne got me in for later in the morning. They called to see if we minded if they came early! Timmy was great. He fixed our issue in no time, and left the everything clean and tidy. The bill was really reasonable. I highly recommend Wells for plumbing issues.

Had them come out to fix a leak related to my shower. I was originally impressed with the work until I showered the next day. The handle on my shower now cannot be used. Nobody ever told me this so I called back to complain. They sent someone else out immediately but all he told us was to buy a new handle because I have the wrong one and he left. My shower handle worked fine before they came and now we have to take it off in order to shower and I have to pay for a new one. Does not seem right but I guess they will not be doing anything to fix it.

We called to have our shower serviced.turns out the pressure balancing valve and mixer cap (?) needed replacing. Tech said that our particular shower parts were obsolete and it would take a few weeks to get the parts. He was here for less than 30m and took our owners manual. 4 weeks later the tech returns with the parts, and has it fixed in less than 30m.

The kicker.$500+ invoice. I checked the part numbers online and could've gotten them for almost 1/3 the price and had them delivered well within a week. When I called and questioned the bill, they basically defended the charges. On top of it all, the tech paid poor attention to detail.had misaligned the knobs. We actually have additional plumbing work that needs to be done but will be looking elsewhere for those services. Very disappointed.

Tonight we had a sewage backup that caused a drain pipe to burst and pour water from the ceiling into our basement and also coming up from the ground from the sewer backup. Their website says: We offer 24/7 emergency services. * New installations * Remodeling services * Sewer line replacement * Emergency plumbing services * Plumbing repair services and much more!

I suppose I made the assumption that if they are plumbers with 24 hour service and offer sewer line replacement they can handle a backed up sewer. But if they cannot, they ought to at least make sure their answering service know this! I called and spoke to their service. Told them exactly what was going on - busted pipe, sewage backing up. Was told to expect a call back in 15-20 minutes.

After about 35 minutes I called again. They're not sure why I didn't get a call back. Wait another half an hour. Finally get a call from the "plumber" who literally just said, "you have a problem with sewer call someone else because there's nothing I can do for you." Seriously? I wouldn't recommend this company unless they WERE the only plumbing company left in the area.

And then I'd try to fix it myself first. That's NOT customer service. If you can't do the job, just tell me. When I call the first time. Not over an hour later with sewage still backing up into my house.

This company is amazing! The Gas Co. shut my heat off on Christmas night because there was a problem with my furnace. They told me to call a service company first thing in the morning. I didn't have one because I hadn't needed any work done since I bought the house. Someone recommended this company, and I am so glad they did. I know they were swamped, but when I told them what happened, they sent someone right out.

Two guys came, (wish I could remember their names), they were very nice and knew what was wrong, but didn't have the part. Turns out the part had to be ordered and when they got the part the next day, Jared came back and fixed it. He was so kind and professional and explained what was wrong. They didn't have to do that, especially for someone who wasn't a customer, but they did. Roxanne in the office was also amazing.

She kept me informed on what was going on and even called to make sure I was all set. Their price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and they have a customer for life.

Just had a hot water mixing valve replaced. Took one hour, part costs $97 at Home Depot, no soldering involved. Price $420, he charged me $255 for the $97 part and an tacked on an additional 30 minutes of labor! Outrageous. This is why I do things myself, the service industry has just become a money trap.

Wants to break up job to two different service calls and charge separately; several other plumbers that I've called for estimates are well able to send one person to do both jobs. Pass on this company.

I'm new to the Nashua area, and needed a plumber to install a garbage disposal in my new construction house. I called at 9AM, the plumber was here at 10 and gone by 11:15. The price was fair, the plumber was professional and the work is as clean as it gets. That, plus them being able to come over on short notice was an unexpected bonus. 5 stars - very happy with the service.

Avoid. Last time I had them out repairing my furnace took $950 and screenplay my heating up. Had them do work in spring. Plumber left and we couldn't shut off heat. Called and got attitude about coming back to fix it. Went down to look and emergency heat was left on after he left! In winter of course now heat downstairs doesn't come on, upstairs won't shut off. This is going to cost more money to have a competent plumber fix. I will NEVER use this company again!

Just had this company come in and replace my cast iron drains with pvc. Overall I am satisfied. The work took 6 hours as quoted and looks good. I do have a few issues which is why I am not giving 5 stars. 1. They didn't clean up after themselves. By that I mean the dirt and grime they left behind. This wouldn't have been an issue except they apologized for me having to clean up.

I believe they should have cleaned up after themselves. It's part of the job. 2. The area they were working in had water lines and they must have hit one of them which is now dripping. I can't really blame them but when I pointed it out they just said, oh that was like that. It wasn't leaking before you got here but after you did the work it was. Take responsibility for it and fix it. 3.

After they put the toilet back in place it would no longer fill back up. I called the office and the gentleman I spoke with was rude and said well that's a supply issue not drain which they worked on. I pushed and eventually I had someone back out and they fixed it. Overall I caution anyone looking to hire this company. They do decent work but be careful.

New Amana furnace & AC install Finally after 30+ years and much hesitation we agreed to replace our very old and inefficient furnace. Our friend highly recommended the company so I contacted their office and a convenient date and time was arranged. Bob came to our home and did a thorough evaluation of our needs. Very pleasant, explained the options thoroughly.

The quote was accepted, job date and time arranged. Day of the job, the workers were on time, very neat, efficient and pleasant to interact with. Techs reviewed how to work the system and made sure we had no questions before leaving. Also reviewed the warranty paperwork and Rebate from the state. Big thumbs up for customer service.

One day while going for a run, one of our neighbors was getting some work done on their house, we asked who they recommend for plumbing issues, and they recommended us to Harry W. Wells & Son Inc. We called this morning and Roxanne assigned this work order to an employee immediately. Jason was very knowledgeable about plumbing, explaining what was wrong, how he fixed it, and how to proceed (e.g., how long before we can use the tub again).

He got the job completed in a little over an hour and multiple repairs (tub faucet, toilet flush, tub spout caulking, etc) totaled under $200. We're pretty satisfied with the outcome!

I used them recently for a job. Quick reply and seemed to do a decent job, but I felt like there was some upselling that ended costing me more than if I had gone with someone else.

Do NOT use this company. We used this company when we first moved into our home and renovated the upstairs bathroom. We spent thousands of dollars on their plumbing services and I am completely disgusted by their service. The plumbing upstairs leaked resulting in a damaged downstairs ceiling. They came back and "fixed" what they said was a loose connection and even paid the repair for the ceiling. However, it happened again!

And now we can't even get a call back from the company because the manager is out giving "quotes" today. Absolutely disgusted not only by their service, but by their lack of loyalty to customers. I will NEVER use this company again and will warn my family and friends. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB. P.S. I would rate them with 0 stars, but Yelp does not allow that.

They replaced a hot water heater for us on May 19, 2011. The service people did a great job and were punctual. The price was very reasonable as well, and the office person who provided the quote was very knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again.
