Loved our experience with Gonzalo from GR Plumbing. He replaced 60 feet of clay pipe and performed prompt & professional service and even installed a cleanout even though it was not in his proposal. High quality work at a good price. Glad he cleaned and disinfected areas where sewage spilled. Would definitely recommend his services.

I had a 35 foot clay sewer line under my house, and another 35 foot clay pipe from sidewalk to city main, all becoming clogged with tree roots. I also had a leaking gas line. My reason for hiring GR is: 1. Gonzalo and assistant came the same day I called to give an estimate. 2. His estimate and proposals made sense and were given same day. 3. They have good quality equipment. 4.

Communication was easy, when I texted questions, he promptly responded. 5. They have a good crew. The first day 3 different crews worked on site; Jackhammer, gas line, and digging; they are very efficient. 6. When they started working Gonzalo found a partial clay pipe under the concrete slab which wasn't on the original estimate. We were able to negotiate a fair deal which I was happy with. 7. David was on site to oversee the construction the entire time. 8. Gonzalo has good business management skills, the job was completed in a timely manner.

ART IS THE MAN! He arrived 15 minutes earlier than promised and fixed my leaking pipe in less than an hour. He was very clear about all of my options and pricing. It was after hours and he treated me as if I were his first customer of the day. Such great energy and is just a really nice guy. I will definitely be recommending him to anyone in need of any plumbing needs.

Gonzalo and Dave came out the day after I called them and immediately found the problem that THREE other plumbers had missed. Not only that, they gave me a quote on the spot and it was about half of what another company said I would need to pay to fix the problem. They came out the day after to get started on the job and they immediately found not only the problem itself, but the cause of the problem.

They saved me thousands and thousands of dollars and the whole team was so lovely and nice to work with. (Adrian said I had to say he was the one who did the entire job, and I agreed, so this is all Adrian's work). But seriously, the whole company was fantastic. I wish I could give them more stars!

Called regarding an emergency service! tub won't was told I get a call back waited an hour for a call back and nothing. I call again to see what happened was asked the same infos from the first time was told they were going to mark that no one has called and now it's 7 hours later and no called. What's the use of bein an emergency service if you won't respond to emergency's

As hoa board its very hard to find plumber that works with hoa but i was lucky to find GR PLUMBING i gave them a call and they came and saw the problem in our pipes and answered all our questions and addressed our concerns plus they was the best quote that we got. we had many jobs done at once like pipe work and descaling and sump-water pump replacement and some cement work they did the job very fast and I'm glad that I worked with them very professional plumbing company. MR Gonzales was the the person who answered my calls and was on top of the work all the time as well as Adrian. Many thanks to all crew member.

I'm always on the lookout for reliable, competent, honest service providers and try to support local businesses when possible. Unfortunately, my experience with GR Plumbing was disappointing. My tenants contacted GR Plumbing to address a clogged drain, but contacted me to share that the garbage disposal was also broken and needed to be replaced.

I spoke with the repair technician and authorized the replacement, very specifically requesting an Insinkerator unit that was equivalent or better than the Insinkerator unit being replaced. He quoted $150 for installation labor and cost of disposal unit that he'd pick up at the local Home Depot. It was almost 8pm and he said he would pick up the new disposal unit and be back to complete the job that night.

I was skeptical about this promise, and sure enough he never showed. My tenants have two children so I wondered if the work would be completed without being too disruptive, never mind having a contractor in the house late at night. The tenants contacted him around 10pm to ask if he was still coming back, he claimed to have locked himself out of his van at the parking lot at Home Depot and would need to reschedule for the following say.

We expected some kind of excuse but even if it was true that he locked himself out the professional and courteous act would be to contact the customers with an update. Installation was apparently scheduled for the following evening, I received a call close to 7:20pm to confirm that the new garbage disposal was installed. Despite my specific request to purchase an Insinkerator unit, the repairman bought/installed a Moen unit.

There wasn't much to be done since it was already installed, but now I have a disposal brand I didn't even want. The repair guy claimed it was the only model/brand in stock, but a quick online inventory search disproved that statement as several Insinkerator models were in stock. I requested a receipt for reimbursement and warranty purposes and he claimed to have lost the receipt as well.

He initially tried to suggest the Moen disposal was a $200-250 model with superior sound installation, but the picture of the unit/model# that my tenant sent confirmed it was the basic and loud $129 model. Is it unreasonable to expect a repairman to let customers know when they're not going to show up? Or if they arbitrarily decide to buy a different product from what was explicitly requested? That explanations/excuses provided are fact based? Overall, a costly lesson for a vendor I would definitely not recommend or use again.

With GR Plumbing you are sure to get top quality work at a very competitive price. They were so friendly and hard working that I was actually sad when the job was completed and they had to leave for their next job. I named them the A Team because their work was so awesome and very professional. The team, led by Gonzalo, included master plumber Adrian along with David and Joe.

They worked very hard and very fast. The work they did consisted of putting in a new trench less main sewer line, replacing all the ancient cast iron pipes under the house and replacing all the other pipes and sewer lines that they determined were in need of replacement. They had to dig a hole 11 feet deep in order to connect the new sewer line to the city sewer line.

This was a lot of work but they accomplished this task with ease. When GR Plumbing completes all the work that is in need of repair, you can be assured that all your plumbing problems will be ancient history. When all the work was completed, everything was cleaned up and all the old pipes were hauled away. The job even came with a 25 year warranty on the new sewer line. I highly recommend GR plumbing because they are extremely professional and do top quality work. Thanks GR Plumbing for such awesome work!

Shocking experience with Steven. He came out to replace a leaking valve/faucet in a bathtub. After replacing it, the bathtub faucet stuck out well beyond the valve. It turned out he had installed the wrong handle and that it had been switched in the box he'd purchased. Came out the next day and replaced that. Charged $600 and the leak continued.

It was a struggle to get him back as he wouldn't respond to texts. Eventually, after catching him on a phone call, he agreed to come and look at it. Came by next day and said he fixed the leak. Left. And the leak not only continued, but intensified. Again, he agreed to come back, did so and said it was fixed. And the leak continued and again intensified.

At this point he no longer answered any of my calls or texts. I had to pay another plumber to completely remove the valve and reinstall it correctly. That cost me $420. So total spend $1020 and the valve replacement took approx. two weeks. And leaked continually for those two weeks. Please do yourself a favor and stay as far away from these guys as possible. Once he was paid he lost interest in fixing the issue. They simply do not care about their work. Or the customer.

I called at 8 am and was told a technician would be in touch but they didn't say when. Called back at 1 pm. Finally called another company at 5:30, they scheduled an appointment for within 2 hours. Cancelled GR. Won't call again.

If I ever have a future plumbing issue Or anyone I know wants a fantastic referral, GR Plumbing is the only company I will ever call. The list of compliments is long. Their service is prompt, always on time starting in the morning, reasonably priced, easy to schedule a project, quick to complete a project, courteous, professional, clean, really really nice guys on the team, helpful to provide sound advice for a homeowner, and kind to my children (2 and 3yrs old).

My family hired GR Plumbing to perform pipe bursting for the main sewer line On a 2 story family home and then replace all connecting branch sewage pipes under the house. A pretty big project on a home that is over 90 years old with original plumbing in a teeny tiny crawlspace under the house. I am so relieved and happy by the choice of hiring GR Plumbing.

There are a lot of plumbers in this city, and Gonsalo and his team are the only ones I trust. Gonsalo handled every aspect of the project with a very high level of professionalism, city permit approval, licensed and bonded. If you need a great plumber, don't hesitate to give him a call.

GR Plumbing came out today to repair the drain in my bath tub. They did an excellent job and even explained how I can keep the drain running properly with regular maintenance! Happy to recommend them to other home owners!

After searching for a plumber in my area GR plumbing were the only ones willing to come out at10:30 at night and rooter out my main drain. The "late night" plumbing call is never a welcoming experience but after being re assured over the phone Art came by "made it to my home within 45 minutes" my drain was cleaned and the cost was lower than quoted! OMG! will definitely keep GR in my saved contacts!

Called to check on costs for Hydro jetting - the person on the other end of the phone repeated it back to me as HydroGenics. I asked again if they have their own trucks and variable pressure for hydro jetting - again she didn't know what it was. I then told her that the word hydro jetting is written on their front page of their website. I asked her if she knew what it was and she said she did not. I would never allow anyone in pipes with a powerful hydrojet that didn't know what the services is called or what it does.yikes!

Gonzalo and his crew did a great job with the Trenchless replacement of my sewer line. I will recommend this team if you are looking for someone to deal with the plumbing services. I have tree roots in the pipes. So I need to call the plumber every six months. Recently I need a plumber every month. So I goggled to learn about how to deal with my sewer problems.

I found this GR Plumbing and found that they can do the Trenchless Sewer Replacement. They brought a camera and tracking device to go through the pipe and showed me the root blockage spots and explained how they could do the replacement. I agreed with the estimate and gave them the job. They completed the job in one full day although it was over 100degree on that day. I would say Gonzalo and his crew are professional and did the job nice and clean. He even offered a 25years pipe guarantee for the job.

Art confidently said he was coming "between 9-11am" the next day. He never showed up. If you dig into the reviews (not using the default Yelp sort) you'll discover this is a pattern with him. About 15-20% of reviewers have pointed this out. I don't think anyone has ever explained to this guy that other people's time is valuable too. (Yes, I get that things happen, but it's 2018. Don't manage your calendar by text.

Use your phone if you're late or need to cancel. Don't accept business that you cannot handle. This is what adults do.) Anyways, if you're willing to gamble with a morning of your time, give the guy a call. I cannot speak to his competence as a plumber. One other thing I will point out. A large number of the Google reviews for GR Plumbing are created by users who have only ever written one review. Again, with Google Reviews, don't rely on the default sort.

A good way to understand this is by Googling a popular restaurant - say "Silver Lake Ramen" - and you will see what a bunch of legit reviews look like. There are virtually no reviewers who've only ever written one review. I also could not find an Angie's List profile for this company.

Art showed up to a party I was at on St Patrick's Day when the toilet broke. He fixed it so quick and easy he refused to charge my friend for the work. What a guy! We were all so stoked at the gesture.

They did an excellent job. Fixed a broken clay sewer line with a special high tech sleeve. All in two days. Fast n reliable!

We needed plumbing service for sewer pipe replacement. GR Plumbing arrived timely. They were very professional, thorough and answered all the questions we had. Very clean work and ensured that everything was working great and that we were satisfied. Would definitely hire them again for future projects.

Really impressed by the knowledgeable and professional staff at GR Plumbing. Had a pretty bad sewer main stoppage and called them for same day service. Not only did they arrive on time that day but they provided a camera inspection at no cost! They identified the issue quickly and we began the project. Utilizing trenchless sewer replacement process they replaced 50 ft of pipe at my house for a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Gonzalo and crew did a fantastic job with the trenchless replacement of our sewer line. They came out quickly and gave us a free estimate, providing the facts and not a sales pitch like other companies we called. We live on a bank house and another plumber thought it was too steep to do. Not only did they complete the job, it was on time, at a very reasonable price, and they cleaned up to the point you would never no they were there. I'm so glad we found a plumbing company to use for all our plumbing needs in the future.

If you need a plumber, definitely use these guys. Their work is incredible, neat, very conscientious and FAST. We had the unfortunate need to replace a sewer pipe from the house to the street. I started calling to get bids on replacing it. These guys not only quoted us a few grand less, they were able to complete the work WITHOUT a messy yard trench, in ONE DAY versus the week I was told by the other companies.

You can't even tell they were here. I've since called them for a couple of small fixes. They fix it in the blink of an eye. They are so nice and cool and you don't hesitate to call them with emergencies or small jobs. I have their card pinned to the fridge and have Gonzalo on my speed dial. I hope to never need a plumber again, but if there's a need for it, I will hire them and no one else. I can recommend them with NO HESITATION. Definitely call them for great work.

Amazing plumber! He worked on our old pump. Something seemingly impossible to do and was estimated at nearly$50,000 by other plumbers. No other plumber would touch this project nor would they even give suggestions on how to go about it. Gonzalo did! He and his workers successfully fixed this old pump in an innovative way and the plumbing in this old house has been working flawlessly!

He is polite and courteous and professional and the reason we hired him for another project was because unlike other plumbers we got an estimate from, he didn't have much of a sales pitch which was actually great! Just confident that they knew what they were doing. So grateful look no further if you're doubting.you should hire him!

Gonzalo and his crew just finished a job at my house today installing a main sewer line. We've been having foundation work done and had no idea that the sewer line that would run through the new foundation pour would be very expensive to repair once the foundation cement was in. They were referred to us and were fantastic! They came out to inspect and bid on the job within 45 minutes of our call.

Their bid was reasonable, and they were able to come out the following day, which kept our foundation work on track to be finished on time. We had a great experience and highly recommend them!

2 and 1/2 hours late. Said they had an emergency. OK. I was nice about it. Came to install a vanity. CHARGED ME $650.00! After Gonzolo left, I discovered that the sink was not draining. I called to have him come back to repair. He made an appointment to come at 8:00 am. I texted to confirm he was coming at 8:00 am - GONZOLO, AGAIN, SAID HE HAD AN EMERGENCY AND COULD NOT COME UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. Fired.

No show. No call. I scheduled a small job and Art the plumber gave me a call a few days ago to confirm a time. We confirmed for today at 9am. It's 10am now, he's a no show and the office lines are being answered by a third party that has no information but only takes your message. Lame and wasting my time. Will not use again.

This is THE best experience I've ever had with any appliance repair shop EVER! George was respectful, prompt, knowledgeable (without being obnoxious!) He said between 11 and 1p and was here at 10:58! I will recommend R&G to everyone! Thanks again George!
