Suzanne Levine one of our dedicated Customer's Service Representatives has sadly passed away. In memory of Suzanne, we had decided to wear the color purple since that was her favorite color. She will be missed, may she rest in peace. Pride Air Conditioning & Appliance was started in 1974 by one man and a dream, my father Barry Pearl.

Your air conditioning system most likely has an overflow device (float switch) to stop the machine when the drain line is clogged. This device is designed to prevent water damage due to clogged drain lines. Look on your air handler (the piece of equipment inside your home) You may notice a sticker indicating a float switch device installed.

First I want to say not all air conditioning companies are bad and trying to scam you out of money. Watch for advertising that has very low offers. These ads are designed to get a salesperson into your home to begin making a shopping list of repairs. If you're not sure, get a second opinion from another company.
