Needed help with our heating system and water heater in a pinch. Called around and Laura at Alvin Hollis was the one who helped! Laura came out right away, looked at our system and helped immediately! The fixes were priced great, performed super-fast! Everybody was friendly and helpful. I recommend them highly! Be cautious of using the company. They lure you into signing a contract without telling you it's a two-year contract of automatic oil delivery. In addition they are dishonest on the quantity of oil delivery. Base on their quantity record, we use 13 gallons per day while the house was not occupied with most thermostats shutoff already. Update on 20Apr2022: Thanks for posting response. Yes, it's very unusual.
That's why we have discontinued contract with you. Now our daily consumption is all within normal range since we switched to a NEW oil provider. Our account number is 33877 in braintree. Why not take a look and give us a call back? Also the house had a broken oil gauge and your company sent plumber out twice but not able to fix. Now you still want to charge us on those costs. I couldn't be more disappointed with your company honestly.

Their customer service sucks. They could care less. Twice they screwed up and wouldn't accept blame. I told them that I wanted only 100 gallons because I was moving what did they do they filled the tank. The slip clearly said 100 gallons. Another time I went away and when I came back my tank had been filled I didn't order it and the slip again said call customer before you go. I again called and got no where.
You would think they would at least apologize. They told me to just close the account. In this day and age most companies only have customer service to give you think they would care a little more especially this one who charges higher prices for oil than anyone on the south shore. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

My old boiler died on a cold Saturday morning. I ordered a new boiler on Monday from Alvin Hollis. Thursday morning their technician arrived early as promised and installed my new unit. Three different associates were in and out of my home all day and they were all terrific. Everyone was professional and courteous. By 6 o'clock I had a new boiler running in my basement. Due to the emergency nature of my install I couldn't price shop but I've have since checked with 2 friends that had similar combination boilers installed and believe I got a good deal.

Alvin Hollis previously delivered oil at our address. After moving into this home, we decided to stick with Alvin Hollis and were so happy we did! In addition to delivering oil, they installed a new boiler and water heater. Everyone we worked with was pleasant, professional, and responsive. Employees were on time for each scheduled service and left the space spotless. They also provided us the documentation to submit for Mass Save rebate.

Been a customer at Alvin Hollis for a few months now after I moved into my house. They cleaned my furnace, installed a new thermostat and installed my new toilet. Bonnie has been extremely helpful and proactive in calling. It's refreshing to deal with a company that treats you as an individual and really cares rather than a number for their bottom line.
