The Plumbing Detectives

We specialize in diagnosing and repairing all types of water heaters, including tankless systems. Our technicians identify issues like faulty thermostats, sediment buildup, or heating element failures. With same-day service available, we restore hot water access efficiently while ensuring energy efficiency and safety compliance.

Using advanced video camera technology, we inspect sewer lines for cracks, blockages, or root intrusion. This non-invasive method pinpoints exact problem locations, allowing targeted repairs that minimize property disruption. Our inspections help prevent costly emergencies through early detection of potential system failures.

We handle gas line installation, repair, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties. Certified technicians use specialized leak detection equipment to address issues safely. Our work meets strict safety standards, ensuring reliable gas supply for heating, cooking, and other critical applications while preventing hazardous leaks.

Jason Webb, Georgia Class II Master Plumber, founded The Plumbing Detectives after 15 years working for major plumbing companies. Frustrated by corporate upselling tactics, he established this business to prioritize customer needs over profits. With expertise in both residential and commercial systems, Jason personally handles complex diagnostics and emergency repairs.

No, we never charge extra for after-hours service calls. Emergency plumbing repairs are billed at standard rates with no overtime fees.

Yes, our Class II Master License covers commercial properties including office buildings, restaurants, and multi-unit residential complexes. We handle everything from routine maintenance to emergency repairs.

We provide written guarantees for all major repairs and installations. Warranty periods vary by service type but typically range from 1-5 years, depending on the work performed.

Jason, the owner, replied to my text late in the evening, but would not be able to help with my problem. Instead he referred me to his hydro jetting tech (also Jason) to clean a sewer line. I appreciate the professionalism he showed with the referral and.by putting the customer first. The other Jason showed up the next day; and did a good job at an incredible price. I was being quoted up to $2,500 for hydro jetting 90' of pipe. Jason did it at a fraction of the cost. Very pleased with Jason and Jason.

Jason is the absolute best! He's been out to our home on 2 separate occasions and has done exactly what we needed both times. The first was to resolve a water temperature issue in our shower and the second to replace 3 faucets. He's a super nice guy and does awesome work. Highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!

So technically I didn't actually hire Jason with Plumbing Detective, but he has a loyal customer for life. I called with my toilet suddenly having started leaking from where the tank meets the base. Jason asked a few questions about the age/make of the toilet and was able to diagnose the issue over the phone. Unfortunately he was booked for the next week and a half and we didn't want to go without a second toilet in the house that long.

But instead of calling another plumber Jason explained the part that he was sure was the issue and that it was a moderately easy DIY project to take off the tank and replace it. He talked me through what it would consist of and even offered that if I got stuck or had questions I could call him back. A trip to Home Depot for a new spud valve and an hour or so of work later and I had fixed my own toilet. An amazing level of service and professionalism. When I inevitably end up needing a plumber in the future, this will be the only one I call.

This is an excellent company! I had a leaking 3 cast iron pipe problem and Jason was super responsive in his messages while we tried to identify the problem. His first quote, over phone messages and videos, was fair and clearly stated the possible cost and why. And his service was careful, clean and efficient, with total cost coming down to be under the quoted value. I would recommend his services to any of my friends. Jason, if you are reading this, it was a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for the help and watch out for the sharks!;
